Hillbilly HQ

Here is an update on John & Matt's Truck Adventure:

The GMC that they got a few weeks ago has been worked on, torn apart and is parked in the garage, where something new is being done on almost a daily basis. They even made the wooden, movable stand that the bed sits on. Cool! Don't ask me exactly what they do, even though they tell me, since I'm not 'into' that stuff. But I'll act like I know.

Fill in the blanks:

They took off the ________ and fixed the _____________, using the ____________ to repair it and then ________ed something else to ____________ that __________ __________ __________.

Did you happen to notice the picture of a different truck? Yeah. That's theirs too. Bought it and brought it home during the horrendous tornado, severe lighting, hail and the darkest clouds I've ever seen rolled-into-one storm this evening. Yes, that's TWO trucks. The one they got tonight is for the engine and parts. Once they are done with it, their plan is to get some cash-ola from the scrap yard. To them its a great deal.

Super fun.

UH, I May have a need for some parts off the teal truck. Let me know a price for it when they take the motor and trans? And nice pics. I love seeing a truck redone. and it's not Hillbilly HQ cause it pretty much looks like my back garage...LOL

Well then you'll enjoy the updated photos that I'll post as they go along. I'll also let them know that you might be interested in the remaining truck when they are done.

*for those of you who are wondering...who is al? he is my long lost- refound cousin!

Papa Mike said it is cool Matthew is wearing the hat he gave him. He also said that he wants to take a look at the body of the truck that may be going to the scrapyard. You have a couple of people interested, I see. It all looks like a good time for Matt and Dad.

Oh, excuse me, I will buy the rest of the truck!! High bidder here! hehehe Just kidding.

P.S. I was able to fill in the blanks and I know exactly what they have done to the black truck. So there!

I think a better title might have been "Hillbilly Heaven". Looks to me like they're having a good time. And the best thing about this project is the memories being made. Those will last long past the life of the truck. Good job, Dad!

P.S. I think Mr. Tony might resent the "Hillbilly" comment - ssshhhh!
