This is Josh standing at what would now be our driveway to "the property" as it was known back then. He was carrying a pink cloth to mark where we decided to put the house. I remember on this day that it was snowy, windy and really cold. Josh would've been six years old. Matthew and Rachel were also with us. I was carrying Rachel in her infant car seat! It was so hard for me to imagine putting a house back on that hill.

I had to take a double look at the picture, because it looks like
Alec standing there.....where have the years gone, it doesn't seem possible.
Is he facing where the house is now or is he looking back down the driveway? My perspective is off.
Our house is now sitting way back behind him. He was facing the road.
