Matt's Truck - The Engine That Could

Daniel was very interested in watching every move.

That engine is now in place in Matt's truck frame. He is now working on sanding the body, getting it ready for paint. This kid has learned so much during this process. He has been very diligent in his work, giving it his all just about every day.

He will be sixteen in less than a week.

Matthew Jacob you are such a hard workin' guy. You have been so dedicated to getting your truck on the road. I know it isn't in the time frame you would have liked, but it will be worth it in the end.
Just think of the oouhhhhh's and aahhhhhh's that you will get when it is done.

You are amazing Mattie, you make us so proud. Keep up the good work. And I can not believe my Mattie is going to be 16......not right. What a handsome young man you are....LOVE you Matthew Jacob....very very very very much!!!!!

And Mattie you are a great role model for Daniel....I loved that he was taking it all in while watching you. He will always remember that about you. Danny Boy will probably grow up and want to put one together himself because of that....can't blame him. Get out there lookin' Mama Kristie....for an ole' beat up truck for your son Danny boy to make like new, LOL.

Oh my Matfew Muffin Boy. The count down is on....5, 4, 3, 2, 1.....Happy 16th Birthday!! Good grief, another Walls kid on the road! Just kidding. Oh Lord Jesus protect my nephews (including Dave & Steve) while they are driving out on these crazy roads!!

Man, looking back at the picture 5 years ago. Wow, Matthew, you look so grown up!! UGH, I am old!

Way to go on the progress of your truck! It will sure pay off in the end.

I loved that Daniel was getting right in on watching you work. I am sure he was asking you ten questions a minute. But hey, if it were Johnny watching, it would be 10 questions per second! And yes, he can! LOL

My kids are getting Tanks to drive. I ain't messing around! LOL

I am so impressed that Matt even has any idea where to begin working on all these trucks parts. I'm amazed! That so cool that he's not afraid to tackle something he's never done before.

I don't know where the years have gone, but 5 years just disappeared into thin air. Even I am freaked out to think Matthew is turning 16 already. Wow!

Kristie, if you're buying tanks for those boys, you better start saving for the gas for those babies.
