Goodbye Cletus

Dear Cletus,
I heard that you are going away.
Say it ain't so.
What are we going to do without you?
You are remarkably talented...in your own special, hillbilly-bathrobe-wearing way.
Who will carry the plunger (torch)?
Please come back to visit us soon.
We will miss you.
We will miss you.
We will miss you.
We will miss you terribly.

I am an undying spirit...i go wherever the wind takes me. It just so happens the winds are blowing West for a short time. But the winds will change, they always do. So, never underestimate the power of the wind...and a man's power to break it.

For those of you still scratching your heads-it was a reference to farting!!

We were just mourning the fact that Cletus's robe and "scepter" are missing. Can't be found anywhere.

Kristie, did you steal them to keep him from going away?

P.S. Miss Shari, don't miss the intro clip to the message this Sunday! (No, it's not Cletus.)

Ya know it took me a minute...but I realized that if Cletus (aka Stephen) wrote his message, I knew that BREAKING WIND had to be a reference to A FART. I am still laughing, because I thought wow it said there were four comments, but I only saw 3, and then......something told me scroll down farther and sure enough there was my answer. Cletus thank you so much for clarifying that for those of us who have less brain cells these days.

I LOVE YOU CLETUS......I am your biggest fan. (Just think you really have a fan club)...what a riot. We might see you on the cover of "Southwind Magazine" someday..... (when you break wind I am hopeful it is a Southwind!!!!!) Oh regarding the magazine cover, I expect an autographed copy...

Oh and Mom, if you are still looking for Cletus' robe and scepter/(plunger) you might want to look under his bed....not sure but you know how he hoards things!!!!

Oh and I am all for the community college thing.....we have to plan a Dave and Cletus kidnap (Kristie call me) wink wink!

I took your advice 'bout checkin' under the bed 'cause there's usually a boatload o' stuff under there. Day of days -- there was NOTHIN' under there but a piece o' Easter grass. Can you believe it? Good idea, though.

Is there really a Southwind Magazine? What a riot! Let me tell you -- if wind gets broke by "you-know-who", it don't matter what direction the wind's a blowin'. Get me?

Hey Cletus' Maw.....dah no there is not a magazine called "southwind"....what a crack up. Now I know where Cletus got his brain cells!!!!!

Let me splain', he was discussing wind, well then it meant Farting...man I hate to keep bringing that up. But anyhooo, so I said that he had a fan club...thought maybe we could pretend there was a magazine called "Southwind", since I didn't want it North or east or west of us, thought it would be much safer SOUTH of us....get my drift!!! That is where I came up with the PRETEND magazine.

Man the Nut doesn't fall to far from the tree.....I am laughing my butteee' off.

Oh and just in case, check to see if there is any jelly beans under that dern bed with that there Easter grass...wouldn't mind a few bout now. LOL (I am lacking sugar)

Hey! How would I know if there's a "Southwind Magazine" or not? I hope them "fragrant aromas" that live near ya catch that nice south wind you're talkin' 'bout. Maybe we need to turn that little yeller house into "Manure Mansion".

By the way, the word "dah" ain't in the dictionary. You use that with me again, you just might find your "bloomers" whacked off.

No jelly beans for you!

Dang your a mean old Lady.....I wouldn't think of sending any such curses' your way. I was just splaining' somethin'....don't get your undies in a tither.

Shoot, the wind sure blows in my house daily with my little man, John Christopher! I think he was made from the same mold as Cletus. LOL
