Rachel and I are heading to the zoo today for her end of the school year field trip.
Yeah, walking around the zoo in the rain is exactly what I had in mind. Ugh.
Before I got out of bed this morning, I was lying there thinking about what I would wear. Its been so hot lately, I was thinking something very light.
We had our windows shut with the air on, so I didn't notice the rain yet. Or the forecast.
Hopefully Rite Aid sells those $1 raincoats, because that is what I'm thinking now.

Be positive.....that it will not be an ALL day rain.It is another time to make memories with your daughter...it will be fun. (trash bags are great for an inexpensive raincoat..Might want to pick some up at Rite aide to sell at the Zoo LOL)
P.S. Just a thought.. If God decides to make it an all day rain, then maybe God will ask the same of you that he did Noah..... And what a better place to be----your at the Zoo and it will be an easy TWO by TWO's pick....Start looking to teak wood LOL
You can thank your dear, sweet mother for the rain. She was out in her yard last night doing a rain dance because she was so determined that it MUST rain so the grub treatment that TruGreen did on our lawns would be effective. I thought seriously of calling her at 4:00 a.m. to ask if she also had a "Stop the Rain Dance". LOL She forgot to be specific when she asked God for rain.
Hope you have a memorable day, whatever the weather. This is one of those rare moments when I'm GLAD my kids are too old for field trips. HaHa
It rained when we were there last week too. Good times!
